forrest is working with john bersuch and jeff harshbarger and laurel morgan (and a few other musical luminaries in the biz) on another record which promises to be more pop/rock than folk per reports that are somehow leaking out to the public. forrest will neither confirm nor kick anyone's ass for this report. as usual forrest is playing this one close to the vest vis a vis the media...not even the Rolling Stone has mentioned anything about it yet. Amazing. they've been at it since December 22nd ('06) and if all goes as planned a release date should be around the last of March or early April, just in time for Easter sunday and the bunny. please all reporters keep your britches and skirts on, forrest will have a press release when he's good and ready. and that's the end of it. ok?!!!!!!

David Hakan of KC Songwriters Circle writes:

"Forrests Whitlow's new CD, Sunrise in Reverse, gives us music that warms the heart and words that set us shaking an angry fist. This is graffiti on the walls of power done in harmonies, articulate acoustic guitar and beautiful melodies. Here are images you won't forget, tunes you will sing to and an album you will keep in the player a long, long time. This CD demonstrates Whitlow's seasoned songwriting ability. There are Rock N Roll songs of lost love and violence. There are songs of wit and philosophy. And there is even a soothing song of hope. He has proven once again to be the master of alternative acoustic rock. Sunrise in Reverse shines."
